How I'm Reaching My Goals: It is my opinion that to do the bare minimum is to produce the bare minimum and to excel you should strive to acquire the most knowledge possible. Therefore, I go well beyond the minimum hours of continuing education required by the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors and push myself to be the best contractor possible.
In North Carolina, the minimum number of continuing education hours required by the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors is 8 hours per year. In 2023 alone, I invested in over 100 continuing education hours through the North Carolina Home Builder Institute(NCBI), the Pool and Hot Tube Alliance (PHTA), and Deco-Crete. I have continued my commitment into 2024 by earning the Master Pool Builder and Design professional designation through PTHA and am only 3 classes away from becoming an Accredited Master Builder through the NCBI.

I am a certified Master Pool Builder and Design Professional that upholds the standards set forth by the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance (PTHA). The MCPB designation is administered by the by the PTHA and is reserved for those individual who show the highest commitment to education. PHTA works closely with various other associations to establish codes and standards that elevate the pool design and construction industry.
